കേരളത്തിലെ സ്‌കൂളുകളിൽ ഹൈ സ്‌കൂൾ തലത്തിൽ നദീ സംരക്ഷണം പാഠ്യവിഷയം ആക്കണം .ഇന്ന് കേരളത്തിലെ നദികൾ മാലിന്യം ഒഴുക്കി കളയുന്നതിനുള്ള അഴുക്കുചാലായി മാറിയിരിക്കുന്നു.ഇതിനു കാരണം നാം നദിയിൽ നിന്നും അകന്നു എന്നതാണ്. നദിയിലെ കുളി മലയാളി അവസാനിപ്പിച്ചു . നദീ തീരങ്ങളിലാണ് ലോകസംസ്കാരങ്ങൾ ഉടലെടുത്തത് എന്നതും നാം മറന്നു.പഠനം എന്നത് കാണാപാഠം പഠിക്കലായി മാറി . മഴക്കാലത്തുമാത്രം വെള്ളം കുത്തിയൊലിച്ചു പോകുന്ന കടലിലേക്കുള്ള വഴിയല്ല നദികൾ എന്നത് പുതുതലമുറ അറിയണം .നദികൾ പ്രകൃതിയുടെ ജീവനാഡികളാണ് .അതിന്റെ തളർച്ച പ്രകൃതിയുടെ മരണത്തിലേക്കുള്ള കാൽവെപ്പുകളാണ് .അതു നമ്മുടെ സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ നാശത്തിന്റെ തുടക്കമാണ്.അതു നമ്മുടെ നാശമാണ്. അതിനാൽ നദീസംരക്ഷണം സമൂഹത്തിന്റെ ധർമമാണ് .
അതിവിടെ പഠനഭാഗം ആകണം
അതിനുള്ള പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ഈ നദീസംരക്ഷണ വർഷത്തിൽ നടത്തുവാൻ മുഴുവൻ പ്രകൃതിസ്നേഹികളും തയ്യാറാവണം . അതിനുകൂടിയാണ് മാ പ്രിഥ് വി സൊസൈറ്റി ൨൦൧൬ (2016) വർഷം നദീസംരക്ഷണ വർഷം ആയി ആചരിക്കുന്നത് .നദികളുടെ സംരക്ഷണത്തിനുള്ള ബോധവത്കരണം കൂടി ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ടാണ് നാം മുന്നോട്ട് പോകുന്നത് .അതിനുള്ള സഹരണവും സഹായവും എല്ലാവരിലുംനിന്ന് ഉണ്ടാകണം ..
Yes.Exposure on water, water conservation, water sources and management, rivers & river management along with environment & environmental conservation, farming practices should be part of curriculum at all level of our education.
ReplyDeleteI agree with this.But that is not enough.I have seen many sewages and drainages opened to reach the nearby stream in many towns and even in many temple/church/mosque premises in Kerala.This must be stopped first.
ReplyDeleteTrue. This should be stopped immediately. All rivers and streams, rivulets should be made functional by strengthening banks through suitable vegetative cum engineering measures and by ensuring proper flow of water. Proper watershed management measures, healthy farming practices to prevent pollution of water by toxic pesticides, fertilizers & weedicides . All unsustainable unhealthy practices such as uncontrolled sand mining should also be stopped.

Yes. To start with all children should be taught how to swim. To enable this all rivers should be made clean.We all should stop dumping water in our river which provide us water to drink and bath
